Aon

Stephen joined Aon, as an associate director of this leading global insurance broker, and it\’s Technical Architecture Group to focus on strategic enterprise architecture and consultancy roles. His work has included the following:

• Transforming and delivering the Business Process Management strategy and capability of Aon in line with client centric initiatives and regulatory requirements, whilst assuring outsourced supplier technology delivery management.
• Expanding document management architecture and security frameworks; developing solutions to Java based services, MQSeries based messaging systems; ETL tools, Content Management, performance Management, KPI\’s, evaluating new technologies and systems; leading architecture discipline on new application development initiatives.
• Developing a corporate and global strategy for Portals, including the technical programme management encompassing a number of initiatives delivering  over a three month period. The strategy also incorporates a solution to federated directory services, single sign on authentication approaches, and integration using XML and SOAP.
• Formulating Aon\’s MI strategy including the governance framework and data warehouse specifically to cater for a rolling programme of financial and regulatory requirements and to meet the business needs for analytics using OLAP cubes.
