Stephen Cameron

BSc(Hons), CEng, CITP, FBCS, MIET

After more than 40 years as a business technology consultant and director of numerous start up companies Stephen Cameron works with the CEO/COO as CIO, as an external consultant or interim CIO.

The core of his experience focuses on digital transformation across many industries. He builds data driven businesses through data science encompassing information philosophy, privacy, marketing insight and operational transparency.

He has originated and been involved in a number of patents: challenging and driving their business value through software and hardware product delivery.

He founded a technology and consulting company 4 D Concepts Ltd in 1990.

Stephen is intense and passionate about the potential for transformational ideas in business. He loves being part of the journey to realisation of a new product and helping people and companies to achieve significant step change.

He is at his core an engineer who understands that change is incremental and business walks before it runs, recognizing that evolution is successful through proportionate investment and managed exploration with balanced results.

He enjoys co-opting and motivating teams to deliver outstanding innovative ideas and products and the strategy that achieves these.
