Anzen Technologies

4 D Concepts joined with Anzen Technologies which had been operating for 5-6 years developing its patented approach to encryption using distributed data sets. 

4 D Concepts provided architectural and product development guidance, having worked with the originating architect of the technology who was stepping away. The strategy roadmap changed from direct database backup to establish generic file repositories as a priority. Anzen were able to deliver a product which met the immediate market need and subsequently achieved Ministry of Defence recommendation for adoption.

The product was principally built as a cloud based service built around Scala and involved highly scalable and distributable processing to effectively make distributed encryption a working method.

A tentative technical agreement was drafted with Tech Mahindra together with a partnership with Oracle established. The business has yet to go through its first stage of funding with a handful of clients.

Anzen were awarded funding under the Defence & Security Accelerator (DASA) initiative for 2019/2020.
