After further detailed research, a &#8216;well-worn&#8217; original drawing, dated 1874, was eventually retrieved from a &#8216;cubby-hole&#8217; in a Glasgow storage vault in 2011. The familiar outlines of the side-elevation and plan view of this&nbsp;first 4-masted iron-ship are shown.
